Most average card shops will stock Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece and Lorcana. There are others like Dragon ball, Digimon, Weiß Schwarz etc becoming more readily available in the wild. TCG has become popular for its community, collectible value and monetary values. The communities hold frequent events at local card shops, online and card conventions. As the TCG has evolved we have seen an introduction to full art cards which are essentially a limited edition piece of artwork. These are improving the visual appearance of collections creating much more desire and appeal for the cards. Some of these shiny pieces of card can now be traded for a small house. With this much value comes risk of scammers and thieves targeting the unknowing. With so many different cards and sets available, it becomes ever harder to differentiate between what’s real and fake.
